Arsenal take revenge against Brentford and regain top spot in the Premier League table.

Arsenal regained the top spot by cruising past the Bees to make it 6 wins in 7 games . It was a dominating display from the Gunners as they looked to take revenge for their defeat in the opening game last season which was still fresh in the memory of Gunner's fans. Saliba opened the scoring for the Gunners from a lovely corner by Saka in the 17th minute. Then it was our main man Gabriel Jesus who put his name on the scoresheet with a powerful header from Granit Xhaka's beautifully lofted pass. Finally, Fabio Viera closed the game off with a beautiful goal from outside of the box to mark his full Premier League debut for the Gunners. It was a great display from the Gunners and a much-needed win after the defeat against Manchester United. The fans can go home happily for the international break, seeing the Gunners comfortably at the top of the table again. Arsenal Player Ratings as the Gunners were toothless in front of goal against Manchester United

Arsenal were beaten decisively by Manchester United with their first league defeat after a run of 5 games.

The Gunners were dominating possession and creating chances throughout the first half with Saliba and Martinelli came close to scoring. But it was United that broke the deadlock with their record deadline day signing Antony scored his debut goal.

Arsenal started positively on the second half with Saka coming inches close to scoring and later equalised with a lovely crafted goal to equalise for the Gunners. But two strikes from Marcus Rashford within 10 minute put the game to bed as Gunners faced their first defeat of the season.

Final scoreline Manchester United 3-1 Arsenal.

Let's jump into the player ratings for the game and let us find out the winners and losers of the game.

Player Ratings

Aaron Ramsdale (GK) (6/10)

Needs to improve his game in one-on-one situations. He was let down by the defence tonight as they were unable to deal with United's through balls. Had made some excellent passes.

Ben White (DF) (5/10)

United did not target this area of pitch much for attacking buildup. He combined well with Saka but need to work on his offensive skills if he is to be our preferred right back.

William Saliba (DF) (5/10)

Could have done better with the second goal. Not at his previous levels

Gabriel (DF) (6/10)

He was again the better of the two central defenders and was quite solid in his interceptions.

 Oleksandr Zinchenko(DF) (5/10)

Could have done better for the first United goal. Was good in holding position but poor defensively.

Albert Sambi Lokonga (MF) (4/10)

Passed the ball well but gave the ball away for United's third. His positional sense needs to improve. Well we really miss Thomas Partey.

Granit Xhaka (MF) (6/10)

Passed the ball well. Always combining well with Martinelli and moving the ball forward.

Bukayo Saka (MF) (7/10)

Had his first Arsenal goal. Was a constant threat upfront. But needs to be more decisive infront of goal.

Martin Odegaard (MF) (6/10)

Made things happen for Arsenal. Created the only Arsenal goal. But it was a night to forget.

Gabriell Martinelli (MF) (7/10)

His work rate and energy is beyond comparison. Should have had the goal given. But VAR ruined his celebration.

Gabriel Jesus (FW) (6/10)

Constantly moving forward to create goal scoring chances. Fouled on so many occasions yet the refree was blind towards United's defenders.

Substitutes

Takehiro Tomiyasu (DF) (N/A)

Didn't do much for a rating.

Emile Smith Rowe (MF) (N/A)

Didn't do much apart for a shot for a rating.

Fabio Viera (DF) (5/10)

Was a nice cameo had a couple of good shots and a nice pass

Eddie Nketiah (FW) (N/A)

Didn't do much for a rating.
