Arsenal take revenge against Brentford and regain top spot in the Premier League table.

 Arsenal regained the top spot by cruising past the Bees to make it 6 wins in 7 games. It was a dominating display from the Gunners as they looked to take revenge for their defeat in the opening game last season which was still fresh in the memory of Gunner's fans.

Saliba opened the scoring for the Gunners from a lovely corner by Saka in the 17th minute. Then it was our main man Gabriel Jesus who put his name on the scoresheet with a powerful header from Granit Xhaka's beautifully lofted pass. Finally, Fabio Viera closed the game off with a beautiful goal from outside of the box to mark his full Premier League debut for the Gunners.

It was a great display from the Gunners and a much-needed win after the defeat against Manchester United. The fans can go home happily for the international break, seeing the Gunners comfortably at the top of the table again.

Aaron Ramsdale (GK) (7/10)

Quite outing for the goalkeeper. Made a good save in the 71st minute. Apart from that was a spectator throughout the match.


Ben White (DF) (7/10)

Had a quiet game as Brentford did do much from his side. Made some good runs going forward


William Saliba (DF) (8/10)

That's two goals for the defender this season. Had a quiet match in defense but was on point with his header for.Arsenal's opener.


Gabriel (DF) (7/10)

Had not much to do as Brentford did not pose any threat going forward throughout the match. Had a beautiful long shot, if only it was on target. 


 Kieran Tierney(MF) (7/10)

Made some good runs down the left flank but his delivery into the box has to improve.


Thomas Partey (MF) (7/10)

His return to the center midfield is a relief for the Gunners. Provided good cover for the back line and made some delicious passes to the front four. Welcome back Partey.


Granit Xhaka (MF) (8/10)

He is the best player for the Gunners this season along with Jesus. What a delightful assist he had for the Gabriel Jesus goal. His passing and link-up play has improved drastically this season.


Bukayo Saka (MF) (7/10)

Arsenal opened the scoring from his corner. Constantly dribbled past the Brentford defenders. Missed a good opportunity in the closing minutes. Had a good game with two assists.


Fabio Viera (MF) (7/10)

What a goal to mark his full Premier debut for Arsenal. Had a good match but lacked the vision and passing of Odegaard.


Gabriell Martinelli (MF) (7/10)

His directness towards the goal is just amazing. Always a constant threat moving forward.


Gabriel Jesus (FW) (8/10)

My Man of the Match.

Scored a beautiful header. Was a constant threat upfront. Could have scored a couple more had it not been for the Brentford keeper.
